Tumanian (Tumanyan, Թումանյան), is a town and urban municipal community in the Lori Province of Armenia. Located 149 km north of the capital Yerevan, and 38 km north of the provincial centre Vanadzor. Currently, the town has an approximate population. The nearby villages of Kober Kayaran, Shamut, Lorut, Ahnidzor, Atan, Marts, and Karinj are also part of the Tumanian community. The town was found in 1926 known as Dzaghidzor (Ձաղիձոր). However, it was renamed Tumanian in 1951, in honour of the famous Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan.

Project #55; Cost $13,000: In 2015 FOA funded for the Reconstruction of six bathrooms (3 for boys and 3 for girls) on 2 floors of the Tumanian school. The school houses about 130 students and 33 staff members.
Other: In 2015 FOA distributed clothing to the children of Tumanian among other towns and villages.
Project #36; Cost $3,188: In 2009 FOA funded for the purchase and installation of the New Heaters for Tumanian school.
