Vanadzor (Վանաձոր) is the third largest city in Armenia, and is the capital of Lori Province; in the northern part of the country. It is located about 128 km (80 mi) north of the capital Yerevan, and 64 km (40 mi) east of Gyumri. Vanadzor is located in the valley of Pambak River, on the point where the rivers of Tandzur and Vanadzor join the Pambak river. It’s at an average of 1,350 m (4,430 ft) above sea level. The population is approximately 82,200.

Project #122: In 2018 the Kindergarten #11 was reconstructed by the Armenian Territorial Development Fund (ATDF) for $398,000. The community contribution is provided by FOA with $21,636 sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Saro and Manush Marukian and Mr. and Mrs. Raffi and Erlin Marukian in loving memory of their parents Mr. and Mrs. Zohrab and Alis Marukian.
