Kaghsi (Քաղսի) is a village in the Kotayk Province of Armenia. Surp Astvatsatsin church (Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցի) and archaic rural shrine is located in Kaghsi. Also, there are several 3rd millennium BC (3000-2001 BC) burial sites, and 17th-19th (1600-1900 AC) century churches, khachkars (խաչքար) known as an Armenian cross-stone. The village consists of 567 homes of 2247 residents, a School of 291 students, and a Kindergarten of 85 children.

Project #66: In 2016 a new Medical Clinic was built by the Armenian Territorial Development Fund (ATDF) for $125,000. The community contribution is sponsored by FOA with $6,000 for the memory of Mari Cakmak.
The old medical clinic was located in the building of the community council. A small room of 10 sq. ft. with 4 workers. It didn’t have the capacity to handle about 30 patients daily, and was in need of a new clinic. The new clinit will serve the community of 2,699 people; of which 1,021 are women, 1,096 are men, and 582 are children.
