Lermontovo (Լերմոնտովո) is a village in the Lori Province of Armenia. Like its neighbor, Fioletovo, it was settled in the mid-1800s by Spiritual Christians from Russia (Pryguny, Molokane). The village is named after Russian poet Mikhail Lermontov, often called "the poet of the Caucasus".
FOA funded towards the reconstruction of the old kindergarten. Which houses 60 children, and benefits the village of about 1,200 population, of which 252 are children. See the project details and pictures below.
Project #65: In 2016 the Kindergarten in the village of Lermontovo, Armenia got reconstructed by the Armenian Territorial Development Fund (ATDF) for $137,000. The community contribution is provided by FOA with $5,500; for the memory of Murad and Sirvart Piric.
The reconstruction of the kindergarten consisted of new access stairs, reinforcement of covers and construction of new iron-concrete cover, construction of septic hole, installation of compartments and internal doors, renovation, installation of heating system, water supply and sewage internal and external systems, rehabilitation of blind area, and area improvement.

The old kindergarten of two-storied building constructed in 1960 was not in operation due to its bad condition.
