Koladag (Kolatak/Qolatak, Քոլատակ) village is located in the Province of Mardagert region of the Artsakh Republic. It is located 42 km north-west from the capital of Stepanagerd. The population is 280; 50 of which are schoolchildren and 22 preschoolers. The village has 80 houses, and the households are mainly engaged in agriculture and cattle breeding. A river called Kolatak flows along the border of Kolatak community. There are many historical monuments of 9-18th centuries, such as Koshik Hermitage and Kachaghakaberd.
FOA funded and completed a number of projects in the village of Kolatag. See the project list and pictures below. THE TOTAL COST IS $21,700.
Project #179; Cost $11,600: In 2020, FOA renovated the interior of the Community Center by replacing windows, walls, floors, ceiling, and other miscellaneous work. The Artsakh government is working to help implement infrastructure projects. Supplies have been delivered, and work is underway. See pictures below.
Project #135; Cost $3,300: In 2018, FOA renovated the entrance areas of the Community Center and the Library inside the building.
Project #134; Cost $6,800: In 2018, FOA renovated and replaced the roof of the Community Center. It was very old, causing so much damage in rainy weather. The villagers helped with the work for this renovation.
